Novitrol 483 – Long-lasting Cleaner and Disinfectant, 5 Litres
Developed and manufactured in Finland, Novitrol 483 is a long-acting cleaning and disinfecting solution that prevents the survival of mold, yeast, bacteria, and viruses on surfaces.
Novitrol provides absorbent materials with long-term protection against mold. It can be used for simultaneous cleaning and protection of moldy surfaces, applied by washing or wiping like a ready-made cleaning solution. Novitrol is effective against bacteria, viruses (including coronavirus-type viruses), yeasts, molds, and algae.
Safe for indoor use, Novitrol is based on plant oils, is odorless, and biodegradable. It does not contain harmful boron compounds, nor does it release toxic chlorine, peroxides, or allergenic isothiazolinones into the air.
The solution is applied by brushing onto surfaces, providing long-lasting protection against mold and viruses. Primarily designed for wood and mineral surfaces, it can also be used as a disinfectant on hard surfaces such as metal.
Also effective as a long-term antiviral coating for contact surfaces such as handrails and door handles.

When used as a disinfectant, Novitrol 483 helps prevent virus transmission via contact surfaces and is suitable for use in homes, offices, stores, restaurants, hotels, taxis, buses, and other public or private spaces.
The solution is ready to use but can be diluted with water (in ratios from 1:1 to 1:10) for surface cleaning and disinfection.
After wiping, an active substance called benzalkonium chloride remains on the surface, which acts quickly against coronavirus-type viruses.
Compared to alcohol- or peroxide-based disinfectants, Novitrol provides longer-lasting protection on surfaces. It is also suitable for disinfecting and washing protective equipment and gear.
In typical settings (homes, offices, schools, taxis, etc.), surfaces are usually cleaned and disinfected by wiping. The surfaces are not rinsed afterward, so the virus-killing substance remains active on the surface for an extended time.
When spraying, a respirator should be worn.
