The electret filter fabric used in the Sarne duct filter is one of the most efficient on the market. It effectively blocks virtually all pollen and harmful pollution particles while still allowing fresh outdoor air to flow through.
The filter also prevents fine particles – considered the most harmful to health – from entering indoor spaces with the incoming air.
The filter material, Sarne fabric, is unique in that it holds a permanent electrostatic charge.
This charge attracts and captures particles onto the filter surface, allowing it to stop even the smallest pollution particles — despite its open structure that enables excellent airflow of fresh air.
In urban environments, the filter should be replaced every 2–6 months.
In rural areas, the replacement interval is typically 6–12 months.
Regular replacement is essential, as a filter clogged with particles will gradually lose its effectiveness and restrict airflow.
