Sarne filter fabrics

Sarne Pro filter fabric

The efficient Sarne Pro filter fabric stops pollen, mold spores, and street dust.
Sarne Pro almost completely blocks pollen and fungal spores that cause allergy symptoms. In addition, it effectively filters out the most harmful microscopic pollution particles, such as those originating from traffic and wood burning.

Thanks to its efficiency and low air resistance, Sarne Pro can also be used as an additional filter in fully mechanical ventilation systems. This prevents dust and microbes accumulated in ducts, as well as particles released from soundproofing materials, from entering indoor air.

The effectiveness of Sarne Pro is based on the electrostatic charge in its fibers, which captures even the smallest particles. Therefore, the fabric does not need to be very dense to filter effectively, and fresh air can flow through it easily.

For wooden ventilation hatches, the Pro fabric is easy to attach with double-sided tape. If the outer grid is metal, magnets can also be used. The Sarne Pro filter is water-repellent and does not serve as a breeding ground for bacteria. However, exposure to weather shortens its lifespan, so protection is recommended when the filter is installed on windows. For glass ventilation windows, a separate rain guard or insect screen can be installed to protect the filter. On small windows, it can be fixed with double-sided tape or pins, and on large windows it is best supported with strips along the edges. The filter fabric can also be attached with a custom-made frame.

The filter must be replaced once it darkens from accumulated dust. It naturally darkens faster in polluted areas, such as next to busy streets. In urban environments, Sarne Pro typically lasts 2–6 months, while in rural areas 4–12 months. The replacement interval depends on outdoor air quality, the amount of air flowing through the filter, and how well the fabric is protected.
Sarne AA and duct filters are made from Sarne Pro filter fabric.

Sarne Flow – Thin yet efficient allergy filter.

An extremely thin filter fabric that allows air to pass through easily while effectively preventing pollen and street dust from entering.

Sarne Flow is an excellent summer filter – it lets air flow freely while maintaining a high filtration efficiency. Its performance is based on an electrostatic charge that effectively captures even fine airborne particles, despite the fabric being very thin.

Flow is particularly suitable for summer use when homes get warmer and good ventilation is essential – especially in houses with natural (passive) ventilation, where air circulation typically decreases in warm weather.

The filter effectively collects pollen, mold spores, and street dust. Thanks to its low air resistance, Sarne Flow can also be used as an additional filter in mechanical ventilation systems to prevent dust, microbes, and sound insulation fibers from entering indoor spaces.
Sarne Flow contains less particle-binding material than Sarne Pro, which means its service life is slightly shorter.
